Suggest some better Wired Type C earphones. Apple original earphones wire quality is not good. It will be better if you suggest any brided cable MFI earphones. Thanks!
for 16 pro max you can use any branded usb c headphones bro. MFi is only for lightning port model iPhones. JBL, Skullcandy and few other brands are there bro.

Is it okay to use non MFI earphones, does it cause any issue in longtime?
we can use bro. lightning port mfi headphones are not easy to find. so generally we can use with adapter lightning to 3.5mm adapter or type c pin earphones without issues. as yours is 16 pro max no need to check for mfi.
