I am unable to add or delete files on my external hardware ( Seagate ). It works perfectly in Windows. What is the issue, bro?

Hi bro, If the hard disk is formatted to NTFS then it wont allow to write operation on Mac. so it must be formatted to exFat to make it work on both windows and macOS. If possible take a backup of your data and then proceed with the format to exFat. then move the data back to HDD.

That should help fixing it.

Backup and formatting are impossible since the file size is almost 2TB. Is there any other way around?

Try Sysgeeker NTFS for mac. But before plugging in the main drive, try using other drive and test it out (like pen drive)

Paid Apps like Paragon NTFS for mac can be used bro.

its paid app but incase of data cannot be moved and to use with more same ntfs disks, you may use it.
