Hi bro, If the hard disk is formatted to NTFS then it wont allow to write operation on Mac. so it must be formatted to exFat to make it work on both windows and macOS. If possible take a backup of your data and then proceed with the format to exFat. then move the data back to HDD.
That should help fixing it.
