Used Macbooks for School Kids, Which model to choose?

Hi Robin bro,

is it advisable to buy used old Macbooks air/pro (With i5, i9 etc) - for kids school video calls, some online games, videos ?

please advice upto what we can prefer the sepcifications.

hello bro, Macbook Air Intel Processor model is sufficient for any students to do their every day tasks. When it comes to gaming, if you are using apple arcade games then its good and suitable. otherwise mac is not suitable for gaming at all.

video calls, word processing, web browsing, writing and all other productivity works can be done very well.

If budget allows, and you can find any M1 Macbook Air or Pro model, then it will be much better choice for long run. Compare the pricing and decide accordingly, bro. budget plays important role here. and yes Used Macbooks are good buy. M1 Macbook Air is best buy in 2023.

Yes bro. normally macs get 6 to 7 years of updates to major macOS releases. additionally important security updates come to older mac models even after 7 years.
