I am new to iPhone, it may look silly, I have a few movies downloaded in my windows pc , I need to transfer it to my iPhone to watch the movies here offline , is there a direct way to do that or is there an app to share files and also I have not yet tried viewing video files in iPhone is a new app needed or the existing inbuild video viewer will work for .mkv extension
Hello bro, not at all silly question. When we are new to the platform it takes bit of search and learning to get used to the features present. For movies transfer my suggestion would be using 3utools app in your Windows PC.
Here in iPhone we cannot transfer the movies directly inside movies app. same for music. we cannot transfer music files directly into music app using itunes type of software.
3utools is a third party app and for offline movie uploads, install VLC Played in your iPhone. Then use 3utools to transfer such .mkv video files to your iPhone - VLC Player.
That will help you to play the movies on the go. let me know if there is any further help needed.
Hi brother , Thanks for the swift reply as usual . I tried the 3utools. Unfortunately it’s not working on my pc it’s very old running on windows 7 may be that is the reason. I have tried another method mentioned in internet , file sharing via vlc app . Worked well for me , only issue is connection should be stable to transfer 1+ gb files. Thanks a lot bro
Good to know bro. Yes FTP method or Web transfer method works well too. most apps provide such option. 3utools works well on latest windows OS bro. its alright, good the issue fixed for you now.
