Its a glitch related to whatsapp bro. they are kind of playing with recent versions 
happening randomly to users. I havent got it color changed till now. happened once some versions ago. since then its staying in blue. you may see the color changing again in next update.

Imo i felt blue looks so good for ios whatsapp
for me it changed back to blue after an update bro. I think green will come once again to me through updates. already sent a feedback to whatsapp to conside switching theme colors similar to telegram.
