Hi bro, i hope you are doing good. I facing an issue in whats app. My old chat history got missing it shows only from dec 10 2022 this is the day I bought and started using i phone. Previously i was using android. With the help of an pd app I transferred all my chat to this phone, transfer was perfect all the chat got transferred. But after backup to cloud i can see only from 2022. But when i export I could see all my old chats. I tried deleting the whats app and restored it but still the same. Kindly help me out how to retrive all the old msg. Is there any app i can use r suggest any remedy’s
Hello bro, similar issues reported earlier too. when we transfer from android to iPhone or iPhone to Android due to encryption difference, indexing issues and way the data managed, there are possibilities for data loss of old chats or file corrupt related issues.
We can us icloud backup to avoid data loss in future. but to search and find any specific chats we see that have wrong date values.
If reinstalling whatsapp didnt help. I dont think any tools available to fix such chats issues bro.

I used wondershare for whats app transfer
I have used their app and recommended the same in our videos too. many of our audiences have used and so far no chats history issues happened as per my understanding bro. this could be a specific issue happening with your device.
You may write to wondershare support once and see if they could help bro. normally they will ask for full chat backup. if there is no privacy issue we can share it with them.
just to redo the steps from the start and see how the issue can be recreated.
