Hope you are doing well. I am having some issues with my WhatsApp.
I haven’t been able to see anyone’s WhatsApp status for the last two weeks. All contact permissions are enabled, the app is updated, I have offloaded and reloaded the app, deleted and reinstalled it, and updated my iOS version, but the problem persists.
Do you have any solutions for this issue?
Hi bro, this issue could be whatsapp specific. they did release 2 updates within this week. have you updated to latest version and check once?
App is updated, but I am still experiencing the same issue. Even after opening the profile, the option to show the display picture or status is not visible. It now opens directly to the display picture.

I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and logged in with a different number. This time, all functions worked properly.
However, I then deleted the app again, reinstalled it, and logged in with my original number and proceed with chat backups, but the error persisted.
Once again, I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and logged in, but this time I skipped the chat backups. Now, everything is functioning normally, and all statuses are displaying as expected. Unfortunately, I lost all my chat backups.

Rarely some accounts could get banned from using certain services bro. give some time and its possible whatsapp to enable this feature to your account in upcoming weeks. Whatsapp dont have support ro not possible to contact them in any way. so we just have to wait til they lift the ban. Then status will work normally.

Good to know status updates are showing again bro. But the backups shouldnt have lost. some app related bug causing this issue for status updates to temporarily not show. You have to decide based on whether status updates or chats backup that are important in this case.
