Even without any fall, or liquid damage, My IPhone 16 Pro Max is showing white screen, touch is working, getting calls, etc. when visited Aptronix, they said screen has to be replaced and it will be paid service as the phone has completed one year. 4 months back my phones screen got damaged, that time also touch was working, I paid 40K for screen replacement, now they said even the replaced screen warranty is also over in 90 days. What should I do? Please suggest.
This is really unfortunate bro. i am using 16 pro max too and crossed 1 year recently, friends are using it and so far no issues noticed. spending 40K or more is not an advisable option right now. to be honest, my suggestion is to sell it and move for new device. when we are not sure whether the issue could reappear in another 5 to 6 months time this is the best choice. not servicing.
If budget is a concern right now, you may check with third party service centers for repair possibility at low fees.
if you are around chennai check with iPick Service Center or iDot Repairs. they may suggest any possible solution too. But once we service it outside, its not possible to service again at apple service center. so kindly consider the risk involved.
One more suggestion is talk to apple support and see if any approval can be done from their side to do free service as you have already spent 40K for display replacement. check for possibility bro.
