Can you please explain about wifi calling over mobile data on dual sim iphone.

hi bro, wifi calling can be activated on particular sim. if you have 2 sims and wifi calling feature enabled by network, then you can enable it for both SIM cards. instead of using network, your voice calls will use wifi network that you have connected at home or office.

I can get it to work using the esim lte data connection to make wifi calling over cellular with the primary line.

I just did a test with Vi (physical SIM) as Primary and Airtel (eSIM) as Secondary (Wi-Fi turned off, Wi-Fi calling enabled for each)—in Control Center:

If i didn’t get signal on any of the sim then that will use mobile data of other sim card and i can make calls and sms.

Hope this option will help most of the iphone users during international travel.

On android/ samsung this feature will be called as backup calling.

Yes bro. When we are in low signal coverage area wifi calling helps. but due to some network side bugs, we are facing blank call issue when wifi calling is active. happens sometimes. in such cases we need to turn off wifi calling and check whether its the problem or not.
