Wifi issue in m1 macbook air

Hi robin bro

Need your help please,

I am unable to connect to my office wifi with my m1 air. It is asking for wifi password but not connecting.

But same wifi i am able to connect to my iphone and windows laptops.

Since its public office wifi i am unable to reboot the router.

Please assist.

hi bro, is your mac able to connect to other wifi networks? like your iPhone hotspot and other wifi networks available at your home or public wifi networks? we have to diagnose whether the problem happens only with specific wifi router connection or with any wifi connection.

Yes bro. Mac m1 air laptop able to connect to iphone hotspot and home wifi, unable to connect to public office network. Is there any settings to connect to public network? Please assist

This could be a problem specific to your office wifi router, bro. it happens with old router models and some routers that have MAC ID Restrictions or Device limits setup to them.

If you have connected to the same Wifi earlier, then try removing that wifi from the network settings - wifi list area. then try connecting again.

Else inform the network engineers in your office to check for any above such limitations. that should help.

Ok bro, this is first time connecting… even disconnected other devices and tried atill not connecting with m1 air.
So hopefully not the mac m1 laptops restriction, it should be router level ?

To conclude that its not Macbook Air problem, I suggested to check with other wifi router bro. So yes, its not macbook air problem mostly.
