I have a doubt whether the default iOS 17 password manager works properly with iCloud after the launch of iOS 18 with the Password app. I am considering staying with iOS 17 and not updating to iOS 18. The reason is that the Home Screen and Lock Screen customization, along with the App Lock feature, are great features, but I am concerned that many iPhones will struggle with performance due to the AI features coming with iOS 18. Apple mentioned that Apple Intelligence will work on the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone, but never clarified if the ChatGPT functionality will not work on other devices.
it shouldnt be a problem with existing services bro. passwords feature will migrate to the dedicated app. and chatgpt features via siri wont work in earlier models. AI features need certain specification so it wont be enabled or consume resources in other models bro.
