Heard that hdfc is giving ergo offer which means it’ll give repay the amount we paid for our apple watch in certain percentage depends upon the steps we take for 15000 they’re giving full refund so can you please post a video about this it’ll be helpful for many. Can someone fake these steps? Like if we shake our phone it’ll count as steps it’ll be stored in health and our watch shares the same health app and hdfc ergo takes data from health app and many devices like fake step counting swing available in amazon so can we use it? Or the hdfc app will ask for gps cordinates for the steps?? What if we put out watch in treadmill mode and use that swing device?? hi bro, as per their terms and conditions, if there is any calculation mismatch happens then they could reject the refund claim. so possibly they have additional measures in place to calculate the steps as they fetch the data from health app. may be heart rate based additional calculations could be considered to avoid such misuse cases.

Bro 15000 steps means - 13 or 14 kilometres, And you need to walk daily for 365 days to get full refund.
14 kilometres will take approximately 2 hours to walk, first check if you have enough time and energy for walking 2 hours
Even thought you won’t get full refund getting even 30% is a great one - for those who needs Apple Watch but not so for others

yeah bro we can put in on treadmill mode or something like that but the thing is there’s something like rest heart rate, running heart rate HDFC will get the data of our ECG heart rate from health so if we put it on swing then there might be a chance they’d consider it as fake counts. I think it’s better to buy a treadmill
What about that swing machine ? I think we can order that and use it for two to three days to check the working if not then return that product . See bro I go gym everyday but while walking I don’t use that activity tracker. Wear it in your hand and simply walk that is enough
as Deepak bro highlighted, swing machine will still miss out of heart rate detection bro. so only steps count will be achieved without heart rate which could result in false data during that specific duration or a day.
Normally apple watch gathers heart rate data along with your steps count and calories burned. few other computation also happens within the watch and stored in health app. so if HDFC Ergo app gathers such data to validate, then after 1 or 2 months we will get claim rejection notice from them.
Its good to go in legal options and claim as much rewards as possible to get atleast the portion of money we paid for the watch bro. just a suggestion.

I have purchased Apple Watch SE 2 gen last Thursday by using this HDFC offer. I have converted my payment into emi which the refund can be paid for the emi and there will be interest. For the interest, if you use icici,sbi,Kotak credit card they will reduce 2000 so interest will be no problem.
That’s exactly what i was planning to do like buy the swing and check whether the steps are counting and if it doesn’t then return it so installed the hdfc ergo app without buying apple watch thought of checking but later only realised that it’ll only work if we buy apple watch in stores and included in that insurance…hence you got the watch incase u bought that swing then let me know the updates @ShanjeevRagul whether it’s counting or not.
Ok bro as robin bro said I decided not to buy the swing machine and walk as much I can and get the refund. No issues in buying that product but if my HDFC found something then they will cancel my claim for the upcoming months. At least get as much refund can. It may be 100,80,50 %

Twitter check panan bro seems like many are facing this issue. Many policies got terminated in the name of fake steps and policy breach and app la iruka claim pandra option ah disable panirukanga for those users. Glad i didn’t get the apple watch rather we can get it in good discounts if bought in dubai or USA. Hopefully they’ll look into the issue asap.
